Luang Por Am was, along with Masters like Luang Por Horm of Wat Sak Hmak, Luang Por Rerm of Wat Juk Gacher, and Luang Por Chaem, considered among the top Masters of the Province, long before even the Great Luang Phu Tim of Wat Laharn Rai acheived his fame. Luang Por Am was the Kroo Ba Ajarn of the Great Luang Por Lat (Wat Nong Grabork), who is famed in his own right for his powerful Pae Maha Lap Hand Carved Goat Amuletsม which he of course mastered under the tutelage of Luang Por Am.

Luang Por Am

Luang Por Am, or ‘Pra Kroo Taep Sittaa, was one of the Great Masters of the Central-Eastern Provinces during His Era, and the ex abbot of Wat Nong Grabork from 2431 – 2490 BE. He was rrespected and revered all around the Province, and had Great fame around the Nation for his Powerful Wicha. During his lifetime he became known as the top Master for carved Lucky Goat amulets. What is less known, and is of immense interest to investigate the lineage Wicha of the Pae Maha Lap, is the fact that Luang Por Am himself received this Wicha from Luang Por Dtaeng of Wat Ang Sila.

Luang Por Am was abbot of Wat Nong Grabork between the years 2431 to 2490 BE, being a Gaeji Ajarn of around 150 years ago, and was the Kroo Ba Ajarn teacher of many other great names of the time, such as Luang por Rerm of Wat Juk Gacher, and Luang Por Lat of Wat Nong Grabork (his successor and apprentice in magick). The Pae Maha Lap Nuea Khao Kwai Gae of Luang Por Am, is believed to possess the power to absorb Black Magick and protect the wearer/devotee from being affected.

It can be said that the Pae Maha Lap of Luang Por Am, Luang Por Lat, and now Pra Atigarn Surasit Akkawaro, the current abbot (written 2562 BE), are considered the ‘cream of the crop’, by serious devotees of the Pae Maha Lap, along with those other Great Chonburi Masters whose names carry fame for this Wicha such as Luang Phu Tim, uang Por Sakorn, Luang Phu Sin.

The Pae Maha Lap of Luang Por Am, was almost always made by carving a goat from ‘Khao Kwai Fa Pha Dtaay’, which is the horn of a buffalo which died struck by lightning in a field. It is an ancient magical belief that the horn of a lightning-struck bull or buffalo has the power of angelic beings in it, for indeed, the angelic beings of the elemental realms who control the weather, are who control these divine forces of Nature.

After the carving of the shape of the goat, Luang Por Am would then empower the Goats with incantations, and invocations of elemental powers and angelic beings, with Buddhist Blessings on top. Sometimes he would immerse them in aromatic sacred oils to consecrate them, mixed with herbal oils made from herbs and vines and flowers of the forest, with magical, healing, protective, and attraction powers. He would rebless them again and again until he felt the amulets were completely stuffed as full with magic as possible, and unable to insert any more. The magic within the amulets was hence always filled to the brim before distribution.

The ceremonies were performed with Luang Por's famous Magical Look Gaew Jakkapat Crystal in the center, with Sincana cords connecting it to all the Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk Crystal amulets, to transmit the power to bring success from the Gaew Jakkapat, into the Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk crystals.

The mysterious Look Gaew Jakkapat was given to Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam by Kroo Ba Jao Chum, who initiated Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam into the mysteries of the magic crystal, of unknown origins, taking two consecutive days and nights to explain the methods. It was said to have been in Kroo Ba Jao Chum's lineage for many generations, but nobody knows where it came from.

Gaew Jakkapat Mani Nopparat

Kroo Ba Jao Chum gave it to Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam, saying he was old and would not be around for much longer, and that Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam would be able to use its power, to achieve all of his goals successfully, and that the Gaew Jakkapat Crystal would bring him those successes.

It is a fact that during the next years thereafter, Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam raised incredible amounts of funds and built a large number of auspicious projects, and temple improvements and restorations, and reached such a high level of achievement in meritorious projects, that he realised it was due to the power of the Look Gaew Jakkapat.

Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam would hence use the Look Gaew Jakkapat to bring the wish fulfilment magic to his amulets, by using the crystal as a lens for meditative focus, and to use Kasina magic to emanate the power outwards through the facets of the crystal into the Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk.

Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam was the first and foremost comrade, and accomplice in Sorcery to the Great Luang Por Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho, and a Master Gaeji Ajarn in his own Right and Standing, whose amulets have now become very rare, and have taken on an increasingly higher status, and begin to approach those of his Mentor, Luang Por Parn.

His Pra Rod amulets and Monk Coins are rarities which are highly revered with the true devotee of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam.

Rules for Bucha;

Firstly, before we undertake any of our duties or tasks each day, we must think of the Buddha and his Acheivement, and to have deep respect in one's heart for the Buddha. If one does this in the moment before Praying to the amulet, and focus to pray mantaining this Respect and Wonder at the Buddha's Self Enlightenment as you pray. If you do this properly, then the amulet will emit powerful aura, full of Mercy Charm, and Bestow you with Blessings.

If we are able to focus on and believe strongly in the Buddha's Enlightenment and Call Upon His Merits to assist, then this is considered to be Buddhanusssati Kammathana - a Kind of Meditative state likened to, or equal to that known as 'Jhana' (absorption).

This is the state of mind that is necessary to activate and call up Miracle Powers, and is tantamount to Pure Faith, which is also a kind of Focused One Pointed Concentration, Absorption, or 'Jhana'. One should also of course think of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam when Praying.

It is this element of the Practice of Faith reverence in Guru Worship, that gives Classic Amulets from great masters the edge over many standard issue amulet. For it is the Faith that the Master instills in the heart of the devotee (the wearer of the amulet), that increases the Power of Absorption.

It is deducibly much easier to feel Faith and Confidence from an Amulet that was made by a Guru Master that we all know of and is Legendary, and whom we believe in his teachings. If we do this every day before undertaking our chores and duties, we wil have Great Success and Acheivements coming our way.
