Ordination and Forest Wandering
At the tender age of 18, Luang Por Songk embarked upon the path of enlightenment as a Samanera Novice Monk at Wat Swee. The Pra Pong Roop Muean Sacred Powder Votive Tablet image of the Great 18th Century Monk, Luang Por Chaem, was released by the Gammagarn Comittee of Wat Chalong, for the Golden Jubilee Celebration Edition in 2539 BE, commemorating the 50th Year of Reign of His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej. This sacred powder amulet is made in Nuea Pong Ittijae and features the classic image of Luang Por Chaem standing with the Bai Pad Yos Royal Fan, which is often used for classic celebratory memorial editions at Wat Chalong.
The amulets of Luang Por Chaem of Wat Chalong are held in high regard by Malaysians and Singaporeans who have visited Phuket since the colonial era. These visitors pay reverence to LP Chaem and the lineage masters by visiting the temple of Wat Chalong. His amulets are considered to be miraculous and are sought after by those who believe in the power of sacred objects.
Luang Por Chaem was born in the heart of Phang Nga Province, in the year of the Gun, 1827, during the reign of King Nang Klao. He was to become perhaps Phuket’s most internationally famous master monk from the 18th century to this very day. Officially in his Dhamma Trajectory, he became known as Pra Kru Wisutwongsajarn Yan Muni, but to many, he was simply Luang Por Chaem.
He was a man of great piety and discipline, becoming the former abbot of Chaithararam Temple, or Chalong Temple, and was held in high esteem by the people of Phuket. Unfortunately, there is no documented evidence of Luang Por Chaem’s parents’ names, as it was common for country folk in Siam during that era to forgo the registration of birth, death, and even marriage certificates. It was a time when traveling to the closest government office was difficult, especially for those living in the countryside, and as such, these matters were not of great importance to them.
At a young age, his parents sent him to live at Wat Chalong, in the Chalong Subdistrict of Thung Kha District, now Mueang Phuket District. Here, he became a disciple of Father Than Kao Abbot and was ordained as a novice and eventually became a monk, studying Vipassana Kammathana Mindfulness Practice, and Wicha, at Wat Chalong until he became proficient.
Luang Por Chaem was known to be strict in the Dhamma and discipline, commanding the faith and devotion of the villagers in general. As such, he was later appointed as the abbot of Wat Chalong. In the year 2419 BE (1876), a group of Chinese tin miners instigated an uprising in Phuket. Luang Por Chaem’s disciples urged him to flee and hide, but he refused to leave the temple and escape. In a show of support, his disciples joined forces to fight to protect him and asked for Pha Yant Pha Yant Prajiad cloth as a morale booster. Luang Por Chaem complied with the request, and this group went on to win the Battle of the Triads.
The victory inspired more people to join the fight against the Chinese triads, relying on the Pha Yant Prajiad cloth made by Luang Por Chaem as a source of inspiration. The Chinese triads were eventually chased away from Chalong village, and the following year, there were no more attempts to rob the village.
Due to his merits in suppressing the Triad Rebellion, Luang Por Chaem was granted a portion of the merit by the Phuket Political Department. His Majesty The King graciously appointed Luang Por Chaem to have his ordained name of ‘Pra Kru Sangkha Pha Moke’, of Phuket to be changed, and that he should be awarded the official elevation of status into the High Sangha Priesthood as “Pra Kru Wisutwongsajarn Yan Muni”. He was conferred this name at Wat Chalong Mai (Wat Chaithararam). This means that he was considered to have accumulated spiritual merit, which is believed to bring about positive effects in the afterlife. This merit was likely granted to him as a reward for his contributions to the community and to Buddhism.
In addition to his spiritual merit, Luang Por Chaem was also awarded with various honors and titles for his services. He was granted the title of Phra Kru (monk with royal patronage) by King Chulalongkorn and was later promoted to the rank of Phra Khru Pariyattikhun (senior monk with royal patronage) by King Vajiravudh. He was also appointed as the abbot of Wat Sam Pao in 1907 and served in this position until his death in 1935.
Luang Por Chaem’s legacy lives on in Thailand and beyond. He is remembered for his contributions to Buddhism, his efforts to promote education and social welfare, and his exemplary life as a monk. Many temples and organizations have been named after him, and his teachings continue to inspire people to this day.
Bia Gae amulets of the Great Master Monk Luang Phu Kam, of Wat Po Bplam temple, in Ang Tong.
The Bia Gae of Luang Phu Kam of Wat Po Bplam, in Ang Tong Province, is counted as one of the five ‘Benjapakee’ Bia Gae of all time, along with the other 4 being the Bia Gae of LP Rod (Wat Nai Roeng), LP Bun (Wat Klang Bang Gaew), Luang Por Perm (Wat Klang Bang Kaew) and Luang Por Pak (Wat Bote). It is believed by devotees, that the Bia Gae of Luang Phu Kam, have immense power to ward off demons, ghosts and evil eye spells, as well as dissovle curses, and protect against poisonous beasts, and jungle fevers. They are said to also possess Maha Ud Gunstopper magic, and Metta Maha Niyom Mercy Charm, that recalls good luck into one’s life.
In the early era of his Bia Gae making, Luang Phu Kam would be able to get his ‘Bia’ cowrie shells from the local area around the temple, but after the year 2493 BE, as his Bia Gae became increasingly famous and renowned for their power, it became necessary to send devotees to places by the ocean, in order to find enough cowrie shells to satisfy the needs of devotees.
As to the Channaroeng and Krang Pastes used to seal the Bia Gae, it was taken from stingless beesnests found in the forest, or taken from Jom Pluak giant termite nests which were found in the vicinity around the temple. As the needs of devotees rose, there was not enough Muan Sarn available from these sources of magical ingredients, and Luang Phu Kam was forced to have to seek farther afield for the sacred ingredients necessary to continue making Bia Gae amulets in the numbers needed for his devotees.
The Bia Gae of Luang Phu Kam differ from those of other masters in their making method; Luang Pu Kam would smelt sacred leaden alloy in a pot until it liquified, and then pour it into the interior of bamboo sticks about one foot in length. The bamboo was then sealed with simple cloth, and the bamboo was quicly shaken and agitated. This would cause the cooling leaden sacred alloy to form into small pellets. These leaden pellets were then used to ‘feed’ the Parort Mercurial Metal. This caused the Mercury to make a different sound when shaking the Bia Gae, more like a rattle than a soft ‘thud’ from the mercury sliding around within interior of the Bia shell.
Luang Phu Kam would then take the Mercurial Alchemical substance and use Incantations to make the Parort Mercurial alloy flow into the Bia Gae shells. To do this, he would place the Bia Gae on a large tray, and use Ya Kaa grass to beat the tray whilst chanting Kata incantations, until the Parort Mercury would flow into the Bia shells of their own accord. Then they would be sealed with Chanaroeng, and a Takrut foil with Khom Agkhara inscriptions.
There are some special models, enclosed within a metallic casing, some oval with decorative borders, others shaped like a turtle. Very few special models (Dtua Kroo) were made, whereas most of them would be left bare, or cord wrapped with the shell poking out visibly. In the case of his Bia Gae that are not enclosed within metallic frames, the copper Takrut Tong Daeng is visibly affixed to the Channaroeng Paste which closes the mouth of the Bia shell. It is said that some devotees once removed the Parort Mercury, and that it was seen to glow with an aura, like neon light.
Once Luang Phu had finished the creation and primary empowerment process, he would take the Bia Gae into his Kuti hut and perform further solo empowerments in privacy.One can recognize the early, mid and later eras of Bia Gae, from the difference in Channaroeng paste found in the seal of the Bia.
Early era amulets will have Channaroeng paste from the stingless bee or the giant termite nests around the temple. Mid era ramulets have Channaroeng paste with Ya Ruea, a herbal paste often used by fishermen and sailors to seal their wooden boats against leakage with. The third and later era, is seen to be made from Ya Ruea mixed with Pong Ittijae Yantra powders.
Devotees would often take the Bia Gae of Luang Phu Kam to be specially framed at an artisan, and framed with gold, silver or other brazen metal type frames. The Artisans would always stamp the enclosure of the Bia Gae frame with the Thai letters ‘Hor Mor Ngor’ (หมง), or sometimes the word ‘Kam’ (คำ), or ‘Heng’ (เฮง). In the case of exhibits which have the word ‘Heng’ stamped on the frame, this was the name of the Artisan. In the case of exhibits that have the letters ‘Hor Mor Ngor’ (หมง), this was and still is the code stamp of the firm of the Hor Mor Ngor Artisans, who to this day still use the same Hor Mor Ngor stamp to encase amulets with custom metal frames.
A rare and famous classic Thai Buddhist amulet from yester-year; of the ‘Krueang Rang’ talismanic variety The Look Om Maha Sanaeh in Nuea Tao Pong Yuk Wat Mai Phai (sacred powders from the Wat Mai Phai early era), with Pong Ittijae powders, from Supannburi Master Luang Por Sanguan, of Wat Phai Pan Mer, released in 2500 BE, the anniversary of 2500 Years of Buddhism.
Luang Por Sanguan, was a very famous master of his time by hearsay, for his reputation preceded him, by devotees telling their stories of his powerful amulets, and the successes they had with them, and from his great merits as a monk. He was famous for Metta Maha Niyom Magic above all, and is known to have made a large variety of different types of amulets, for, as was often the case with 19th and 20th Century Master Monks, he was an Adept in many Magical Wicha. But perhaps the most famous of his Wicha was the Look Om Tao, for its immense power to charm and enchant.
His many sacred powder amulets were considered extremely powerful, through Luang Por’s use of Sacred Pong Ittijae Muan Sarn Powders which were made by Luang Por Sanguan himself, over his whole lifetime trajectory, constantly rewriting the Sacred Pong Lob Yantra and repeating the empowerment on the powders. This repeated empowerment of the Ittijae powders over many years of his practice.
Luang Por Sanguan is known to have mastered all of the methods for all five of the ‘Pong Wised’ Sacred Muan Sarn Powders; Pong Bpathamang, Puttakun, Trinisinghae, Ittijae, and Maharach. He was especially known for his ability to mix these powders with sacred herbs and other ingredients. He would empower with Metta Maha Niyom and Maha Sanaeh Magical Power of Attraction.
His Look Om became legendary for its Maha Sanaeh power so much, that it gained the nickname of ‘Look Plaek Mae’, which means ‘Makes Son and Mother do not recognizer each other’. This of course is a folk nickname, and is slighly rude, but insinuates that the power of the Look Om Tao, was able to improve even the most unlikely of chances, of charming a person who would otherwise not be interested in you.
It is known that Luang Por would always rely on his Pong Ittijae powders created over a lifetime of practice, to ensure the power within his amulets. This was because he had developed a special affinity with the empowerment of Pong Ittijae. Every time he would release amulets, he would make Look Om sacred powder balls from the Pong Ittijae surplus. Apart from Pong Ittijae, he is also known to have included Rae Saket Daw (meteorite flakes), sacred earths from Wat Ban Krang, and sacred relic minerals found at the temple of Wat Phai Pan Mer.
If we look at the Look Om of Luang Por Sanguan, over his life trajectory, we can see that his early era Look Om were mixed with other ngredients, such as sacred earths, herbs, betal-areca nut paste, channaroeng stingless bees nest paste, and powdered flakes of meteorite.
However, if we look at the Look Om which were made at Wat Phai Pan Mer after his years of Tudong preceding, we can see the sacred clay to be much more uniform like the clay used for his Pra Somdej, resulting in a hard smooth surface that is easy to recognize, even for beginners in the art of studying amulets. Their appearance is very uniform with equally high distribution of Pong Ittijae in each amulet.
This is because towards the latter part of his life, he did not go out on Tudong to the forests anymore to collect other herbs and ingredients, and would use his own Pong Ittijae. It is said that there is a Takrut Maja Sanaeh hidden within the Look Om, intended to increase power of attraction, and good business sales and customer count. Luang Por Sanguan would always oversee the mixing of Muan Sarn to make the sacred clay, and instruct his apprentice monks at the temple in assisting to press the many amulets which were released in each edition.
It is officially accounted from many devotees who visited the temple, that they always witnessed Luang Por Sanguan inscribing Yantra every evening, using a Ruesi Chalk stick made from Yantra powders, to inscribe the hundreds of Sacred Yant used to make POng Lob powders, and keep reusing the chalk residues to make new Ruesi chalk stiicks and repeat the process, for years on end. He would constantly empower the powders he made with incantations, and prayers, taking them into the shrineroom for morning and evening prayers to receive the vibrations of the monks chanting. He would make Look Om himself by mixing the powders with prayer water and other mediums and roll them in his hand, and blow his spells into them, during his nightly withdrawal from the world.
The Great Luang Por Pae, of Wat Pikul Tong in Singhburi is known to have often lauded Luang Por Sanguan, saying ‘Ajarn Sanguan makes very powerful Ittijae powders’. Whenever Luang Por Pae would have a Putta Pisek (Buddha Abhiseka) blessing ceremony, he would always invite Luang Por Sanguan to attend, and send people to go and pick him up and bring him to the temple. In return, it is said that Luang Por Sanguan would always tell his students that Luang Por Pae was a Great and Meritorious monk, and that if they found themselves in Singhburi Province, they should go visit him and pay respects.

Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn Nuea Wan Plai Dam Pim Bai Sema Amulet – Luang Phu Tim Issarigo, Wat Laharn Rai (Rayong)
This amulet, is a classic original Khun Phaen Bai Sema early era design, which is extremely rare, and known only to those who have studied the amulets of Luang Phu Tim with great fervor, and to those older devotees of the area around Wat Laharn Rai. This amulet comes with Certificate series No 1449 of the 11th August 2562 BE Luead Ban Kaay Luang Phu Tim Amulet Conservation Association Meeting. The amulet was entered for certification, but not competition, due to lack of other competitors with the same amulet (This was the only one in the whole show).
This exhibit allows viewing of all the fine details of the design, and is visibly authentic to the naked eye. The Muan Sarn Sacred Powder Clay is Highly Attractive to the Eye. An amulet of great beauty, and rarity, and in the highly preferred, and rare to find black Plai Dam powders, for serious collectors/devotees of the amulets of Luang Phu Tim. Perhaps a once in a lifetime chance to find this extremely rare Pim Bai Sema.
This exhibit is in excellent condition and well kept, with highly refined details and features, and most certainly worthy of show in the allocated competitions of its genre. The surface texture of the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders has developed the classic fluffy appearance that reveals high Pong Prai Kumarn content within the black Pong Wan Plai Dam Sacred clay.
Our proprietor Ajarn Spencer, states that this is the first and only exhibit he ever managed to find, during his years collecting and studying in the Chonburi-Rayong area around Wat Laharn Rai, and that he considers it perhaps the rarest one he has had to seek out. This Pim is a very well preserved exhibit, of a highly sought after Pra Niyom Master Class Amulet, that is now extremely rare to find, since the massive revival in interest in Luang Phu Tim’s amulets, after the truth of his early amulet editions, and the now famous Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn 2515 BE Edition ‘forbidden history’ amulets were revealed to the Public.
Most of the amulets of Luang Phu Tim which were previously untalked of, and unheard of, due to lack of documentation till recently, have been snapped up during recent years, since their dramatic discovery and appearance in the international public eye.
It is very rare to find Luang Phu Tim’s Nuea Wan Plai Dam black powder Khun Phaen amulets, because many people take a great preference to the appearance of the Khun Phaen in black color, and more so, because of the famously powerful magic found within Pong Plai Dam Black Sacred Magical Earths, which is also mysteriously magnetic. Nuea Wan Plai Dam is known for both power of attraction, and Kong Grapan invincibility magic.
This all-time classic Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn of the Great Luang Phu Tim, of Wat Laharn Rai, is one of the most famous amulets of all time, and highly renowned for its true power to bring prosperity, good business, power of attraction, and mercy charm to the wearer. The reason this amulet became so world famous and popular, even in the time when Luang PhuTim was still alive, is because everybody who owned one, recounted that business and personal success and prosperity had increased constantly and steadily since wearing the amulet.
Luang Phu made other editions throughout the years, and most definitely made between 2505 BE, right up to his passing in 2518 BE. The early era and especially the 2515 BE Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn edition, are now the most preferred of all, overtaking the 2517 BE ‘Block Raek’ series, which is now considered by most to have been made by conmen. We must however add, that the official document of permission signed by Luang Phu Tim for the Bangkokian Association Owners, did list all the famous amulets we know from this edition, but that the Pra Khun Phaen was not on the list, and omitted. This means that Luang Phu gave permission for them to make (and take most back to Bangkok with them to monopolize).
We believe that Luang Phu Tim began making amulets at least 35 years before he passed away (which would be around 2483-2485 BE), as most Master Monks begin distributing their amulets around age 50 if not long before (usually long before), and it is not credible to believe the Bangkokian Monopolists, that Luang Phu Tim only made Pra Khun Phaen amulets in 2517, the final year before he passed away (Impossible!). This is underlined by the fact that there is photographic evidence that Luang Phu Tim was already a notionally acclaimed Master, invited as one of the 245 top masters to bless amulets in the Wat Prasat 2506 BE 4th biggest blessing ceremony in the history of Thai Buddhism, and many other important ceremonies in the years from 2500 BE onwards.

For it to reach their ears sitting on their butts in Bangkok, it seems to have taken at least 17 to 35 years at least for them to actually get the wax out of their ears. Lazy traders in lazy seats in lazy Bangkok showrooms. They do not travel all the time, and they were not at the temple of Wat Laharn Rai through all the years Luang Phu was there. Ajarn Loi was born in the month of February 2454 in Nakorn Sawan, but later moved to live in Bang Prahan in Ayuttaya. He became the apprentice of Luang Por Glan of Wat Prayat. After the passing of LP Glan, Ajarn Loi continued his practice of Magic with Luang Por Bpaen of Wat Sao Tong Mai in Ayuttaya.
Ajarn Loi learned many Wicha with Luang Por Bpaen of Wat Sao Tong Mai, who was well versed in Wicha Saiyasart, but Ajarn Loi himself was also Adept in Artisanry of the Chang Sip Moo Fine Arts level of prowess. He thus taught Ajarn Loi all of his Wicha, and methods of weaving the spellbound Hun Payont, Takrut and other amulets, and Ajarn Loi would make them in the finest fashion. Ajarn Loi was a fine artisan of the Chang Sip Moo group, and received Wicha from Luang Por Bpaen, Luang Por Glan, and other masters, but was the most Adept of all at weaving the Hun Payont Golems with his Artistic ability to make the effigies in all sorts of postures, and dress them with all kinds of regalia.
The Hun Payont comes from the word ‘Payont’ which means an effigy that has been brought to life by Sorcerous Magick. Hun Payont may be made in various forms, such as the form of a Human, or some other Magickal creature, or animal, depending on the needs of the user and intended uses of the Adept who makes them. The Hun Payont, is an amulet that is found to date back to the times of the Kassapa Buddha. The Kassapa Buddha, is said to have made a Payont effigy, to protect his Relics, before he himself passed into Nibbana.

Little is known of his Biography or Life before ordination, but it is known that he was the apprentice in Wicha to the great Luang Por Soke (also top 5 Palad Khik Master), and was the4 Kroo Ba Ajarn who taught the Wicha Palad Khik to the Great Luang Por Yid, of Wat Nong Jork. This Palad Khik from Luang Por Fak is in Pristine condition and exquisitely carved in the classic uniquitious curved shape which has come to be a trademark with the Palad Khik of Luang Por Fak.
A hole is drilled through the base of the Palad Khick for threading a cord through and attaching to a waistcord belt, or can alternatively be encased in waterproof casing with pendant hoop for wearing on a neckchain or belt as preferred.

The Por Pan Pitsadarn is a type of Hun Payont Effigy of the ‘Say Bon’ veriety (higher path – sai lang and say bon are the lower and upper paths, meaning white, or black magic). The meaning of the Por Pan effigy is ‘Triple Gem’ of Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. It is therefore not simply an Animist Charm, but is in fact a Buddhist Sacred Artifact of the New Era.

The Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn of Luang Phu Tim, is perhaps the most legendary and famous of all Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn in History, and is the prized possession of the high end collector, and devotee. The Look Om Luang Phu Tim is renowned for its Maha Lap, Metta Maha Niyom Maha Sanaeh anmd Maha Pokasap Power, to increase wealth and bring lucky fortunes and mercy charm, as well as providing immense Klaew Klaad and Kong Grapan Chadtri power to protect.
Below we can see a Highly preferred early-Era Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn Pasom Gesa Ta Bronze Wanich Met Klang Niyom (2 Cm diameter medium size ball) – this exhibit is an especially attractive Look Om, highly eligible for entry in competition. This early edition exhibit is rather more highly preferred than the Wat Po Sampant edition of 2517 BE, and of a much earlier edition, with richer Muan Sarn Sacred Powders.
The all-time classic Original Wat Laharn Rai Sacred Powder Ball of the Great Luang Phu Tim of Wat Laharn Rai, is one of the most legendary amulets of all time, and one of the most preferred amulets in Thai Buddhist Amulet Collecting.
The Muan Sarn Sacred Powders of the Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn Luang Phu Tim Wat Laharn Rai, are one and the same as the powders found in the extremely expensive Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn amulets of this Master. For this reason, are considered a perfect alternative (and more affordable,) to the Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn Luang Phu Tim. The Pong Prai Kumarn powders famously contain Pong Gakoke Dek powdered skull bone of a Hoeng Prai Kumarn.
The Look Om came into existence because, after the pressing of Luang Phu Tim’s Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn, Pim Yai, and Pim Lek amulets, there was much of the Muan Sarn Paste which had become too dry for it to be pressed into the finely detailed block press molds of the Pra Khun Phaen amulets.
And so this remainder of Pong Prai Kumarn Powder Muan Sarn, was then rolled into wishing ball amulets, as the powders were just too powerful and Sacred to dispense with without making them into amulets. And so it was, that the famous Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn came into existence.
The Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn of Luang Phu Tim is considered by most people to be the most famous Look Om Amulet of All Time. The Original Look Om of Luang Phu Tim Wat Laharn Rai are known to differentiate themselves from other editions released by Luang Phu Tim at other temples. This is for his use of Bronze Wanich golden paint, to cover the Look Om With only in the editions he released through his own temple.
Other temple releases of his Look Om (i.e. Wat Po Sampant and others), are of course equally authentic and Sacred, but less preferred than the ones which came through direct release at the temple of Wat Laharn Rai. Half the reason being that Luang Phu would use a much more highly concentrated mixture of Pong Prai Kumarn in his own direct releases.
Whereas the related temples where he allowed release and assisted in the blessings, would also mix other Muan Sarn Sacred Powders into the mixture, which despite also being extremely sacred and powerful, would then allow for less quantity of Luang Phu’s highly prized and revered powerful Pong Prai Kumarn powders to be added.
It is hence considered that the Wat Laharn Rai release versions are believed to be much more powerful Maha Lap and Maha Sanaeh type Magic, which are two of the preferred powers with those who like to use Seduction for Love and Business, and Gambling, Lottery and Wealth Attraction.
The second reason for the Wat Laharn Rai Niyom versions being the most highly revered and preferred is more of a speculative one, which means they tend to win over other editions in competition, and are considered to have more aesthetic beauty to them for their high presence of Pong Prai Kumarn and the special high quality ‘Bronze Wanich’ golden coating.
It is a part of the amulet appreciation society expert’s method of authentication to examine and study the appearance of how bronze Wanich golden paint develops in surface texture, tonality and porosity of the surface, as well as the appearance of Luang Phu Tim’s famous Pong Prai Kumarn which rises up and through the surface of the fine golden painted surface.

The making of the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders Look Om Pong Prai Kumarn Luang Phu Tim, came from the Wicha which Luang Phu had inherited through apprenticeship form one of his high Kroo Ba Ajarn, Kroo Ba Sangkh Tao, who was also his true Uncle. Part of the formula included Pong Prai Maha Phuudt, which was made from the Skull of a male Kumarn who died in the Womb, and who died on a Saturday and was cremated on a Tuesday. This is part of the ancient Khmer Necromantic Formula for Authentic Powerful Prai Occult Magic, as practiced in Ancient Times.
Due to the fact that Monks are not allowed to seek and find this Sacred and Extremely Powerful Necromantic Substance, Luang Phu would perform Korb Kroo Initiation for protection against Black Magic and the Phuudtaa Spirit Phantoms, so they could go forth to seek and find the substances to donate to him for the making of the Pong Prai Kumarn.
The Initiated Lay Devotees and Apprentices to his sorcery, would then wait for the news of the right circumstances of death of Kumarn Ghosts, and go out to collect the substances and prepare them as instructed with the Wicha. Luang Phu instructed his apprentices and the relatives of the Funerals to take care not to incinerate the whole skeleton, but to keep the skulls to bring to Luang Phu to use them for the making of the Pong Prai Kumarn. This is one of the reasons why his Pong Prai Kumarn is so powerful, because it does not contain the skeleton bone powders, rather, only those of the skulls.

Buddhist monk coins with his image and others with Buddha images and other deities and imagery are amongst the most highly collected amulets and most expensive of all of the great Luang Phu Tim. He has various direct lineage apprentices, Who are continuing to progress and spread his most powerful and world-famous Wicha.
Of all of these masters, perhaps the most famous, preferred, was Luang Por Sakorn, of Wat Nong Grub, who is also now deceased, and whose amulets are fast becoming just as highly sought after. In second place one could possibly estimate the great Luang Phu Sin, of Wat Laharn Yai, and in third place, possibly, Pra Ajarn Somkid, of Wat Beung Tata (Rayong).

A closer look, with Macro Photography at the features of the famous classic ancient amulet Pra Wanta Sema 2463 BE, of Luang Phu To (Wat Pradoo Chimplee).
This Pra Wanta Sema, is a truly rare and beautiful ancient amulet, of the pantheon of early era amulets of the great Luang Phu To, of Wat Pradoo Chimplee, the Pra Pim Wanta Sema Nuea Pong Wat Plab. Made from broken pieces of the original Ancient Wat Plab amulets (from which the original Wanta Sema design was taken).
This edition was released in 2463 BE. Classed within the classic pantheon of the first ever 13 Somdej Type amulets of Luang Phu To, which is one of his Great Pantheons of Millionaire Class Amulets of Ultimate Esteem and International Fame.
The amulet is seen by some as the Sayasana Buddha (Reclining), and others pray to it as an image of King Rama 1 praying to the temple wall at the Royal palace, with Lotus flower in hands (part of ritual ordination), as he was ordained for the traditional practice of Thai Males to become a Buddhist Monk for a time.
In those days, the Strategic Infantry Command Regiment were the main sponsors of the amulets created for Luang Phu To to bless, and this design was commissioned for Luang Phu To to press and bless, in the 2463 Edition.
The amulet is reminiscent of the original Pra Wanta Sema Wat Plab by Somdej Pra Sangkarach (Suk). Pra Wanta Sema Wat Plab by Somdej Pra Sangkarach (Suk) has some discussion about the image and what or who it represents. The most common legends say, that it depicts a sleeping Buddha in the Saiyasana posture.
But those who are more well studied believe the image to be a depiction of His Majesty the King Rama 1, holding the lotus of ordination, as a Monk and praying to the temple wall, before ordaining into the Sangha for the traditional period which Kings must ordain for. This is most likely the true meaning of the image.
Wat Plab is one of the 10 official temples of the Dtamra Pra Somdej for its Muan Sarn Sacred Powders which belong within the Dtamra of Pra Somdej of Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri Wat Rakang Kositaram.

A clear visual close up of the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders can serve the student well to examine and take note of the many different ingredients, and the appearance of the surface, its dryness, porosity, and the secrets of the interior content (where cracks reveal the inner substance).
Above Pic; The aged surface is both hardened, dry and dense, and reveals the true characteristics of natural aging process over time, making it easy to authenticate.
This type of clear-to-recognise features make the amulet a ‘Pra Tae Doo Ngaay’ (Easy to see as Real). The surface of the amulet has a crinkled effect to it, where the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders have dried, and shrink inwards closing the gaps between the particles of powder, and tiny cracks have formed all over the surface as the amulet has shrunk from within over time, as it dries and hardens.
The rear face is always the most important surface area for study once the front face features (Pim) have been confirmed to one’s satisfaction, and authenticated.
Examination of the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders and surface features of the rear face, allows a much more accurate and detailed study of the content of the Muan Sarn, without obstruction of any design to obscure sight of the uniform raw surface features.
The rear face surface shows a fine gossamer layer of mildew formation, which ranges in tonality from black, to brown, to light gray.
This is also an important aspect of examining the ‘Kraap’ mildew on the surface of ancient amulets; Namely, that most authentic amulets will have a non-uniform surface tonality to the Kraap Kru Mildew, and that Fake amulets, tend to have a Uniform colour and tonality to the surface mildew.
This is because it is almost impossible to spray a fake mildew onto an amulet, and make it have hundreds of different colours and tones to it, which is something that only happens with natural aging and atmospheric weather changes over many years of time.
Fake mildew is more uniform, and the true authentic mildew is far more complex in its appearance. Please take note of this when examining amulets, and use the ‘Kraap Kru’ mildew as one of your authentication reference tools.
Once one has examined front and rear face of an amulet, one should then continue on to peruse and examine the edges of the amulet, which will reveal its aging.
One should peruse the cracks arisen through contraction, one is able to determine if the front and rear face surface appearance fits with what the edges reveal, as far as atmospheric changes, and under which conditions the amulet has been worn or kept over the years.
For example, if the edges reveal that the amulet has contracted over a long time of constant dryness, but the surface of the front and rear reveal moisture exposure, then something would be amiss wouldn’t it?
If the front face and rear face say the amulet has experienced multiple changes of moist to dry atmospheres, then the edges should also state the same. Of course, this is not an easy art to train the eye in, and you need to examine many amulets over many years to be able to see what the expert sees.
Wat Plab has always been a temple that Luang Phu To was afilliated with and whose Muan Sarn Sacred Powders he always used in the making of his famously priceless amulets. The Muan Sarn Sacred Powders for the Pra Wanta Sema Luang Phu To, are indeed also composed of mainly broken pieces of original Wat Plab amulets, along with the other Sacred Ingredients which Luang Phu To would ubiquitously mix into the Muan Sarn, for all his amulets.
Wat Plab amulets are a sacred powder type amulet using a mixture of ground sea shells, pollens and flowers, incense powders, temple wall bricks. The mixture used by Somdej Pra Sangkarach (Suk) was the basic formula of Pra Somdej made before any other ever, and is thus the keystone of Pra Somdej amulet making, and the origin of the Pra Somdej Wat Rakang.
The Pim Wanta Sema 2463 Luang Phu To was released in the classic famous 13 Pra Somdej First Edition. The 13 Famous Pim, were made by Luang Phu To with the greatest passion and Highest Effort through Pure Intention, and had the intention to make them as Truly powerful as was possible.
He spent a long time with much effort to find the rarest, most powerful and sacred herbs, woods and relic ingredients for the Muan Sarn used in the making of the Sacred Powders used for his Amulet.
Most Pim were pressed by Luang Phu himself with his own hand, but he had help in assembling the Muan Sarn and many menial tasks from the Samaneras and the Lay Masters of Wat Plab temple. This is of course part of the reason that the Amulets of Luang Phu To possess Sacred Powders of Wat Plab in them too.
The Great Masters of Wat Plab in Bangkok Yai revealed their secrets to Luang Phu, about the mixing of Muan Sarn. It is a hardly known inner secret, that, all of the Great Masters with great Wicha, passed through Wat Plab, to receive the Wicha and secrets of the Mastery of the Pra Piti Haa (5 Piti Jhana Control).
They revealed to him the secrets of making ‘Pong Lob’ Sacred Powders, according to the Dtamra Pra Somdej of Ajarn Saeng, who is reputed to have taught the Dtamra of Pra Somdej making to Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto_ Prohmrangsri (Wat Rakang Kositaram).
It is Pra Ajarn Saeng, who some groups believe is the True Discoverer of the Hin Sila stone with the Dtamra Somdej hidden within it. The debate on this issue may continue forever, for proof is unfound.
One other major base ingredient of the Muan sarn used in this first edition of Luang Phu To’s Amulet Trajectory, was a type of ‘Pong Wised’ (Special powder) or ‘Pong Puttakun), which was colected over many years by Luang Phu To, as he wandered on Forest Tudong. Often he would travel together with Luang Por Sodh (Wat Pak Nam Pasi Jaroen), and another Famous Monk of that time whose name has been lost from all documentation.
Luang Phu To of Wat Pradoo Chimplee was one of the greatest Masters of the Last Century, and a Highly revered Monk around the whole Kingdom of Thailand. he was Respected and revered by His Majesty Our great King, who was a close friend and companion.
This Great Monk achieved his status through his Great deeds and his great Diligence in his Patipatā (Practice of Purity and Renunciation), and in his Great Attainments in Dhamma Pariyatti and Dhamma Patipatā.
His Blessings are believed to possess the most powerful protective power, and to increase success and prosperity. His amulets are both highly revered for their sacred Power of Protection and Prosperity, but also as a connection and Buddhanissati reminder of the Great Guru master, to beseech his blessings through the amulet.

The Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk is one of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam’s most famous amulets, and popular now as it was in olden days during the time when Luang Por was still alive. The Look Gaew became instantly famous for the number of successes with the devotees who used the Look Gaew to make wishes, and is a legendary amulet that has become a household name with Thai Buddhist People.
The Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk amulet is found in various shapes and sizes, both rounfed, and elongated, and also in various colours, including turqoise, sienna, and white. They were released over various years in various editions, and were all blessed and empowered by Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam in full Putta Pisek Ceremony (Buddha Abhiseka), at Wat Ta Sung.
The ceremonies were performed with Luang Por’s famous Magical Look Gaew Jakkapat Crystal in the center, with Sincana cords connecting it to all the Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk Crystal amulets, to transmit the power to bring success from the Gaew Jakkapat, into the Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk crystals.
The mysterious Look Gaew Jakkapat was given to Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam by Kroo Ba Jao Chum, who initiated Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam into the mysteries of the magic crystal, of unknown origins, taking two consecutive days and nights to explain the methods. It was said to have been in Kroo Ba Jao Chum’s lineage for many generations, but nobody knows where it came from.
Kroo Ba Jao Chum gave it to Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam, saying he was old and would not be around for much longer, and that Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam would be able to use its power, to achieve all of his goals successfully, and that the Gaew Jakkapat Crystal would bring him those successes.
It is a fact that during the next years thereafter, Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam raised incredible amounts of funds and built a large number of auspicious projects, and temple improvements and restorations, and reached such a high level of achievement in meritorious projects, that he realised it was due to the power of the Look Gaew Jakkapat.
Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam would hence use the Look Gaew Jakkapat to bring the wish fulfilment magic to his amulets, by using the crystal as a lens for meditative focus, and to use Kasina magic to emanate the power outwards through the facets of the crystal into the Look Gaew Sarapat Neuk.
Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam was the first and foremost comrade, and accomplice in Sorcery to the Great Luang Por Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho, and a Master Gaeji Ajarn in his own Right and Standing, whose amulets have now become very rare, and have taken on an increasingly higher status, and begin to approach those of his Mentor, Luang Por Parn.

Firstly, before we undertake any of our duties or tasks each day, we must think of the Buddha and his Acheivement, and to have deep respect in one’s heart for the Buddha.
If one does this in the moment before Praying to the amulet, and focus to pray mantaining this Respect and Wonder at the Buddha’s Self Enlightenment as you pray.
If you do this properly, then the amulet will emit powerful aura, full of Mercy Charm, and Bestow you with Auspicious Blessings. If we are able to focus on and believe strongly in the Buddha’s Enlightenment and Call Upon His Merits to assist, then this is considered to be Buddhanusssati Kammathana – a Kind of Meditative state likened to, or equal to that known as ‘Jhana’ (absorption).
This is the state of mind that is necessary to activate and call up Miracle Powers, and is tantamount to Pure Faith, which is also a kind of Focused One Pointed Concentration, Absorption, or ‘Jhana’. One should also of course think of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam when Praying.
